PEAK DIGESTIVE FIBER 390G
- Boosts satiety
- Enhances digestion
- Supports intestinal health
Water-soluble dietary fibres such as inulin, pectin or oligofructose are known to ensure that food stays in the stomach longer and thus contribute to an increased feeling of satiety.
The absorption of water from the dietary fibres also increases the volume of the food pulp, which leads to an increased stimulus on the intestinal wall in the intestine and thus to a stimulated intestinal movement. This stimulates digestion and reduces the retention time of the food pulp in the intestine.
This mechanism, caused by the properties of dietary fibre, is the reason for the positive effects on digestion and intestinal health. Water-soluble dietary fibres are also said to play an important role in a healthy, balanced intestinal flora, a regulated blood sugar level and a normal cholesterol level
